There are many reasons to use our products. They are made from rapidly renewable plant materials – sugar cane, potatoes and corn – making them completely biodegradable and compostable. Our TÜV Austria certification guarantees their quality and properties. The organic matter used to make them is decomposable, and they do not release toxic substances into the environment after complete degradation. The manufacturing process is environmentally friendly and releases far less waste emissions thanks to the biotechnologies used. They comply not only with the European standard EN13432 on reducing plastic product consumption, but also with the conscientious attitude of anyone who is aware of how they affect the environment. How long their complete decomposition takes depends entirely on the environment they are in. The best conditions for this are provided by domestic or industrial composting systems, which comprise a combination of temperature, humidity and bacteria. They accelerate the decomposition process and turn the products into valuable soil enrichment mixtures. They harmlessly decompose in an organic environmen and are ideal for the office or family picnics. Made from PLA, a plant polymer that is an excellent alternative to plastic, using certified biotechnology.

Made from CPLA, a plant bioplastic, BeBio cutlery and straws are completely biodegradable and compostable. High-quality, strong, comfortable to hold and edge-free, they surpass plastic in terms of appearance and feel. Capable of withstanding temperatures from -20°C to + 200°C. Available in HoReCa packaging and sold separately or as sets of cutlery in biodegradable packaging.
